Google's data center campus in Midlothian, Texas, located in the Dallas market, has seen significant expansion with the addition of its fourth building in 2024. This new facility, announced in March 2024, spans 170,600 sq ft (15,850 sqm) and represents a $100 million investment. Google's presence in Midlothian began in 2019 with the construction of its first data center, initially developed under the project name Sharka through its shell company Alamo Mission LLC. The company has strategically acquired land for this campus, starting with 375 acres and later expanding its footprint with an additional 165-acre tract to accommodate future growth and development.
