Background:
TierPoint's newest data center facility is located in the Northwest section of Oklahoma City approximately 10 miles from downtown. It is adjacent to TierPoint's existing Oklahoma City facility and is a Tier 3 facility. The building was completed in the 3rd quarter of 2008. The overall structure is 22,500 sf with a raised floor capacity of @ 15,000 sf. The structure is made of 8 inch concrete walls with a multiple structured non-penetrated roof, designed to withstand winds up to 150 mph. The facility is located on 15 acres of property which is approximately 10 miles from downtown Oklahoma City. Access to I-44 is approximately 1 mile Access to I-40 is approximately 5 miles Access to I-35 is approximately 10 miles. Will Rogers International Airport is approximately 10 miles from the facility.
Details:
The facility is a Tier 3 rated facility and will withstand up to 150 mph winds. It has a power rating of 150 watts per square foot and a UPS system with a rating of 1.6 MW. Generated power is produced by two 1 MW generators. The facility has state of the art fire suppression/smoke detection, over 150 tons of CRAC cooling under the floor and in-line cooling, 24 hour video monitoring, biometrics, and 7/24/365 access.

The data connectivity to the carrier neutral facility is provded by AT&T, Cox Fiber, and Chickasaw Telecom via diverse paths from each carrier. Perimeter porivdes a fully meshed network backbone utilizing BGP4 routing on a Cisco based infrastructure.
