Stream DC New York is a data center facility situated in the STAMP industrial park in New York. Stream Data Centers acquired the site, originally planned for a clean hydrogen project by Plug Power, for $132.5 million. The acquisition includes land, associated infrastructure, and substation assets. The site benefits from secured grid and substation capacity, which will be utilized to power the data center. This acquisition is part of Stream Data Centers' ongoing development of data center facilities. The transaction is expected to close by the end of June. The site's previous development plan was suspended due to federal funding changes, leading Plug Power to optimize its assets and enhance financial flexibility.
