WRV Nurseries South Brunswick LLC has applied to develop a 340,985 sq ft (31,678 sqm) data center on the former Princeton Nurseries site located at 4389 US-1 in Princeton, South Brunswick, New Jersey. This facility is part of a broader redevelopment of the 160-acre plot, which was once the largest commercial nursery in the US and has been vacant since 1995. The data center will be situated within the OC Office Corporate Zone of the Princeton Nurseries Redevelopment Area and will have access via a private road connecting to Route 1. Technical specifications and power details have not yet been disclosed. South Brunswick Township's Planning Board will decide on the proposal on March 12. The area is targeted for mixed commercial development, including tech and life sciences sectors. South Brunswick currently has one data center operated by Lumen, while the wider New Jersey market is active, serving areas like New York's financial district.
