Raeden has proposed the development of a 100MW data center located at 27800 W. Jefferson Avenue in Gibraltar, Michigan. This site was formerly occupied by a McLouth Steel plant. The facility is slated to receive power from DTE, an energy company that has confirmed its system has sufficient capacity to meet the data center's energy demands. Raeden's proposal indicates the data center will consume between 200 and 500 gallons of water daily. The company has committed to covering all costs associated with energy infrastructure, building refurbishment, site remediation, and preparing the facility for data center operations. However, the project has faced significant opposition from local residents in Gibraltar.
