TenKey Data Center - Bldg 2

The TenKey Data Center Campus, proposed by TenKey LandCo, LLC, is a planned 200-acre facility in Franklin, Kentucky, within the Gateway 65 industrial park. The project involves the construction of three 200,000 sq ft data centers. A key feature is its self-sufficient power generation through on-site natural gas turbines and battery storage, ensuring no impact on residential or commercial electricity rates. The facility will utilize a closed-loop cooling system, minimizing water consumption. TenKey LandCo states the project has not requested tax abatements or public incentives, projecting approximately $30.58 million in annual property tax revenue. The development aims to create 100-200 permanent technical jobs with average salaries over $100,000, alongside construction employment. The site is strategically located off I-65, between Nashville and Louisville, and is zoned for heavy industrial use. The project also includes plans for preserving the historic Dunn Cemetery on the property.
