Alcove Development is exploring the feasibility of a significant data center campus in Osawatomie, Kansas, located southwest of Kansas City. The proposed facility, situated on approximately 116 acres in the Northland area at W 335th St & Osawatomie Rd, could span up to 600,000 sq ft and offer between 50-150MW of capacity. This project represents a substantial investment, estimated between $900 million and $1.1 billion. The City of Osawatomie has entered into a predevelopment agreement with Alcove Development to conduct a six-month due diligence process. The development may benefit from a proposed 10-year, 50 percent property tax abatement. The Kansas City metropolitan area is a recognized hub for data center development.
