Joliet Technology Center A4

The Joliet Technology Center, located in Joliet, Illinois, is a proposed large-scale data center campus developed by PowerHouse Data Centers, a division of American Real Estate Partners, in conjunction with Hillwood Development Company. The project encompasses a 795-acre site and is planned to feature 24 two-story data center buildings, each with 144,500 sq ft of floor space. The development is slated for construction in four phases, with each phase including a six-acre substation. The campus is estimated to offer up to 1.8GW of capacity, with PowerHouse Hillwood Holding securing its own electricity supply independently. The project is projected to generate significant property and utility taxes for the local area over 30 years. Hillwood Holding is part of the Perot family of companies.
