Solecrypt Bizerte is a planned 20MW sustainable data center located in the Parc d'activités économiques de Bizerte, Tunisia. This facility is designed for high-intensity AI computing with a focus on low carbon and water footprints. The project is a collaboration between SoleCrypt and Schneider Electric, aiming to position Tunisia as a strategic hub for sustainable computing serving Europe and the MENA region.
The data center will benefit from strong connectivity, including proximity to submarine fiber optic cables and the national power grid, enabling sub-10 millisecond latency to Europe. Schneider Electric will provide technology advisory, including AI data center reference architectures co-developed with NVIDIA, and solutions for electrification, power systems, liquid cooling, and infrastructure management.
The facility is planned to be powered by renewable energy, with SoleCrypt developing a separate 60MW solar project in the Tozeur desert. The Bizerte site is strategically located within a free zone, close to critical infrastructure such as the main port, high voltage substation, and international airport.
