TenPeaks Data Centres

TenPeaks Auckland North, located in Dairy Flat, Auckland, New Zealand, is a planned large-scale data center development by Spark. This facility is part of a 43-hectare masterplan and is designed to be a 40MW campus with capacity for staged build-outs.

A key feature is its innovative heat exchange system, which will utilize excess heat from the data center to warm a nearby surfing lagoon. Additionally, an onsite seven-hectare solar farm will contribute renewable energy. The development is targeting LEED Gold design certification and aims for industry-leading power, water, and carbon usage effectiveness, emphasizing sustainability.

This project represents Spark's commitment to expanding its data center business, driven by increasing data usage and the demand for capacity, particularly with the rise of generative AI. It will be Spark's third strategic data center location in Auckland, alongside its Takanini and CBD sites.
