KIO MEX2 is a state-of-the-art data center that commenced operations in 2011 in Mexico City. Designed with Tier IV characteristics, it features two massive 600 square meter computer rooms with 0.9 meter raised floors, redundant 2N electrical systems with 2.5MW of generator backup power, and highly efficient N+2 redundant cooling infrastructure. The facility implements multilayered physical and cybersecurity controls including biometric access, around-the-clock manned security, CCTV monitoring, and fire protection systems. KIO MEX2 is carrier-neutral with direct access to over 15 telecommunications providers.
