Port of Dunkirk Data Centre

The Port of Dunkirk in northern France is seeking expressions of interest for the development of a significant AI data center on a 21-hectare plot within its Large Industry Zone. This vacant site, formerly a refinery, offers a unique opportunity for large-scale data center construction. Developers will benefit from a substantial power connection ranging from 400MW to 700MW, supplied by utility company RTE from the nearby Flanders Maritimes substation. This power connection is designated as high-priority by France's Energy Regulatory Commission, ensuring rapid deployment for qualifying projects consuming at least 400MW. The site's strategic location and the availability of high-capacity power make it an attractive prospect for major data center development in a region experiencing significant AI build-out.
