Prime Järvenpää

Prime Data Centers is planning a significant AI-ready data center development in Järvenpää, Finland, located in the Vähänummi industrial area on Emalikatu. The project is situated on a 12-hectare plot approximately 40km from the Finnish capital, Helsinki.

Prime is reportedly investing €1.8 billion ($2bn) in this development, which is being undertaken in collaboration with local partner Nordic real estate investor Brunswick Real Estate. Construction is anticipated to commence in 2027, pending the successful completion of the environmental impact assessment and the acquisition of necessary permits.

A key feature of the Prime Järvenpää project includes plans for waste heat recovery, with the potential for integration into the Järvenpää district heating network. The city of Järvenpää has expressed positive sentiment towards the investment, highlighting its potential to boost local vitality, employment, and national technological impact.
