KIO Networks operates the Santo Domingo 1 (SDO1) data center in the Dominican Republic. It began operations in 2014 and is located in the Zona Franca “Las Américas” in Santo Domingo. The facility is designed and certified to Tier IV standards, ensuring maximum availability and resilience.

Monitoring is handled through a Building Monitoring System (BMS), and fire protection includes VESDA early smoke detection and double‑interlock preaction systems.
Security measures feature five levels of access control, biometric facial recognition, 24/7 surveillance with 90‑day video retention, and continuous staffing. The site also maintains ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and SSAE18 certifications, supporting compliance and operational excellence.
