The Tibet Autonomous Region Big Data Center, located in Lhasa, China, is distinguished as the world's highest data center. It is situated in the core area of the Liowu National High-tech Zone.
The facility is planned for phased construction, with an overall projected data center area of 400,000 square meters. It aims to be an "internationally first-class data center," meeting China's national standard GB50174-2008 for Class A and B, and not less than the international Uptime Tier Classification T3 standard.
The first phase of the data center is located in the northeastern part of the core area. This phase includes four data center buildings (A, B, C, D) and an operations and maintenance office building. The four data center buildings have a total construction area of 65,376.69 square meters, while the operations and maintenance building has a total construction area of 8,618.51 square meters, including a basement. The total construction area for the project is 74,067.20 square meters.
