BCE Richardson

Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE) is developing a significant data center campus named BCE Richardson, located in Richardson, Saskatchewan, Canada. The project, filed with the Rural Municipality of Sherwood, aims to rezone approximately 160 acres of land for a "data and research center." This multi-phase development will include multiple 50MW buildings, totaling around 46,575 sqm (501,345 sq ft). The first building, spanning 8,500 sqm (91,025 sq ft), is slated for development to commence in 2026. The campus will be powered by a dedicated substation from the Saskatchewan Power Authority. Additionally, the site includes plans for a commercial/industrial development on 14.4 hectares (35.35 acres) along Park Street Road, potentially involving a research partnership with the University of Regina for heat-reclaiming greenhouses. This AI data center campus is envisioned to provide critical digital infrastructure for research, provincial AI enablement, and federal/protected industries, offering secure, made-in-Canada computing capacity for universities, healthcare, public-sector services, and Canadian businesses.
